To promote a safe environment for all, we ask visitors to adhere to the following CA COVID-19 and The Museum SFV common sense guidelines:
UPDATED: April 1, 2022
Public and private events are an important part of our cultural life. Museums, galleries, performing arts venues, and venues that host private events inspire and connect our community and foster social health.
The mask rule for County of Los Angeles and City of Los Angeles has been lifted.
However, any Museum member of visitor that has any health challenges may still want to wear a mask in side of The Museum.
All/most Museum members and visitors may be fine without wearing a mask in the exterior areas of The Museum SFV grounds.
NOTE: The County of Los Angeles and City of Los Angeles may change the COVID-19 rules at any time.
For The Museum SFV special tours and events, most tickets may be purchased online. There are normally opportunities to purchase tickets on site too. Group Tours will be scheduled upon the re-opening of The Museum, with some restrictions on total number of attendees per group.
When entering The Museum SFV grounds or inside of the building, please maintain social distance.
Additional Information:
Regular cleaning measures have been instituted for high-touched areas, interactive displays and surfaces throughout the day.
The Museum gift store will be open upon our re-opening inside and contactless options for payment will be offered as well as cash for art items, books, videos and other gift store items. For questions or assistance, contact us at TheMuseumSFV@gmail.com.
Facility rentals can be tentatively scheduled, subject to cancellation based on the public health guidelines in place at that time. For assistance, contact Michel Stevens, President, at michel.stevens@TheMuseumSFV.org.
New volunteer applications for Museum Associates are being accepted - please contact The Museum SFV at 818-347-9665 to become a Museum Associate. Training is included with the Museum Associate program.
For questions or assistance, contact the volunteer department at TheMuseumSFV@gmail.com.
