To promote a safe environment for all, we ask visitors to adhere to the following CA COVID-19 and The Museum SFV common sense guidelines:
Please do not visit if you are not feeling well, have been diagnosed with COVID-19 or have been exposed to someone who is ill.
We encourage masks to be worn outside on the grounds if there will be close contact with visitors that are not family members.
The Museum SFV, once re-opened, will require masks to be worn inside of The Museum, for the safety of all visitors. This policy will be reviewed regularly internally and as mandated by the State of CA, County of Los Angeles and City of Los Angeles, Department of Health.
For The Museum SFV special tours and events, most tickets may be purchased online. There are normally opportunities to purchase tickets on site too. Group Tours will be scheduled upon the re-opening of The Museum, with some restrictions on total number of attendees per group.
When entering The Museum SFV grounds or inside of the building, please maintain social distance.
Stay six feet away from others not in your household.
Follow designated routes marked by floor graphics.
Keep moving through the galleries and avoid lingering in one area.
Use hand sanitizer frequently. Dispensers are located inside The Museum SFV.
No food or drinks are allowed inside the facility. Tables and chairs are available for visitors to consume food or drinks outside.
Regular cleaning measures have been instituted for high-touched areas, interactive displays and surfaces throughout the day.
The Museum gift store will be open upon our re-opening inside and contactless options for payment will be offered as well as cash for art items, books, videos and other gift store items. For questions or assistance, contact us at TheMuseumSFV@gmail.com.
Facility rentals can be tentatively scheduled, subject to cancellation based on the public health guidelines in place at that time. For assistance, contact Michel Stevens, President, at michel.stevens@TheMuseumSFV.org.
New volunteer applications are being accepted - please contact The Museum SFV at 818-347-9665 to become a Museum Associate. Training is included with the Museum Associate program.
For questions or assistance, contact the volunteer department at TheMuseumSFV@gmail.com.
Thank you for your patience and respect for fellow Museum members, donors and visitors. We will be re-opening soon and look forward to having you enjoy YOUR Museum of history, art and culture of the San Fernando Valley.
